We Mourn The Loss of Jean Darling

Jean Darling, who performed in the original Broadway production of 'Carousel,' died on Friday in Rodgau, Germany. She was 93.

"We have lost another member of an original cast, Jean Darling, who created the role of Carrie Pipperidge in 'Carousel.' One has only to look at the remarkable YouTube clip of her singing "Mister Snow" in 2012 - at age 90 - to get a glimpse of what a great performance she must have given in 1945. We send our condolences to her family." -Ted Chapin, Rodgers & Hammerstein President
