Ms. Futterman is the librettist of YOURS, ANNE, a musical based on Anne Frank: Diary of a Young Girl, as well as I AM ANNE FRANK, a song-cycle for Andrea Marcovicci, and I REMEMBER, a chamber piece for mezzo-soprano, flute, harp and cello, both also based on the diaries of Anne Frank. I AM ANNE FRANK received its New York premiere at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center in 1996, and is available on CD. I REMEMBER was given its world premiere at the US Holocaust Memorial Museum's Chamber Music Series in 1996, and its New York premiere at Weill Recital Hall, Carnegie Hall in 1997. She is the bookwriter and lyricist of PORTRAIT OF JENNIE (music by Howard Marren) and AN OPEN WINDOW (music by Sarah Ackerman), part of the Ten Minute Musicals Project, recipient of the Richard Rodgers Production Award and the Seagram's New Musical Theatre Award.  Ms. Futterman is also the author and photographer of Bittersweet Journey: A Modestly Erotic Novel of Love, Longing and Chocolate, published by Viking. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild.
