Native New Yorker Leida Snow has collaborated on songs with composers like Ron Dante, Stephen Schwartz, and Ralph Schuckett, and her lyrics have been recorded by such artists as Nancy Wilson, Jane Olivor, Helen Schneider, Patsy Gallant, and the Mark & Clark Band.

For some 13 years, Leida covered the cultural life of New York as Theater Critic for 1010 WINS Radio. She also reviewed and/or reported on theater for WABC-TV and Variety, and has been published in the Hollywood Reporter, Opera News, Ballet Review, New York Newsday, and various theater-related magazines. For several years she served as President of the Drama Desk (theater critics association) and produced and hosted the Drama Desk Awards. Listeners may also remember her voice from WQXR-FM (music host and newscaster) or ABC Radio (network news radio anchor). She has appeared on and Off Broadway and, in cabaret, at such venues as Dangerfield's. Currently she is president of LS Consultants, which provides media coaching to professionals in fields such as politics, government, law, medicine, and the arts. She is also Chair of the 8th Congressional District [NY] Advisory Committee on Culture and the Arts.
