Thompson, Julian F.

Julian F. Thompson (1888 - 1939) was Treasurer of McKeeson and Robbins and wrote plays as a hobby. His most successful was The Warrior's Husband which gave Katharine Hepburn her first starring role on Broadway. The Warrior's Husband was used by the team of Rodgers & Hart as the basis for their musical BY JUPITER. Julian F. Thompson married Amalita Staff and had two children, Patricia (Waterman) and Julian.
